If you are fed up with other social media apps which expect you to scroll through reams of posts hoping to find something relevant to you, then we think you'll like our Neighbourhood Support Service App.

Fundamentally people need people, to us this means enriching human interaction, not hiring a crowd.

We exist because not everybody has a garden fence and the best neighbour, might not be the one living right next door to you.

Shiftwork, deadlines and busy lives mean that individually looking out for each other is a challenge, but collectively with the help of a little tech, as a community, the NSS App makes it work.

We encourage you to share just a little about yourself, as this makes it easier for others to connect with you.

Simply, swipe left if you're feeling 'lonely' to invite direct chat, or, swipe right if you're 'in-need' and post a 'help request'. Together amazing things can happen if we all slow down, reach out and do just a little more.

We require all our new members to use their real names. We'll verifiy your email and phone number. These are essential parts of ensuring that your community is made up of real people, it builds trust and makes members accountable too.

To keep your chat and posts private our Online Safety Team manage security protocols including:

Password protection
Password reset timeout
Hiding chat from search engines

Not sharing your personal details with advertisers
